TagMaster reveals XT-3 reader for vehicle identification

TagMaster presented its ultra-high frequency EPC Gen 2 reader model XT-3 designed for vehicle access control, rail applications and asset tracking.

Available in two versions, one according to US specifications (XT-3us) and one according to European specifications (XT-3eu), the reader comes equipped with the Linux operating system and supports the same software applications used in all readers from TagMaster.

The XT-3 long range RFID reader has a built in antenna and can be equipped with optional external antennas. Classified for IP65 level of ingression protection with, it is designed for outdoor installations and can operate in climatic conditions and temperatures ranging from -30°C (-22°F) to +60°C (+140°F).

The reader with its various features including the unique configurable LED indicator at the front is a suitable product solution in many vehicle identification installations.
